I'm back in the saddle again.

So yes. I am back. Been without wow for too long. First my main comp went out on me. So I fiddled around with it myself while playing WoW on my old comp. The graphics hurt my eyes adjusting to the hugely decreased graphics and performance. But I never updated my virus protection, not really bring worried about it because all I ever did was play WoW. Didn't touch the Internet for anything else, except my dad did, and he neglects to use Firefox over Internet Explor and it got hit hard. Must have been the swine flu of cmputer viruses because it was put out of commission indefinately. Somehow put my computer in a loop when trying to run it in safe mode. So I finally gave in and let professionals handle my Gaming PC as they are more able to order parts and return to figure out the problem. And as I expected it was the motherboard. But on top of that, one of my two graphics cards as well. Bummer. Well last night I picked it up and before playing had to go through a complete uninstall/install as some files were corrupted and wouldn't allow a patch update. Then after that long process I hopped on and immediately was overjoyed by the crisp clean and sharp graphics with awesome framerate of 50-60 in DALARAN of all places. So glad to be back. But had to get my addons back since now I need some of them after using them for so long. I actually found myself at a dummy before getting them back on, which was when I realized I needed them. And luckily I managed to log on and dance with Catrina at the last minute for that Dance of the Dead achievement. It's good to be back on. But still not sure if I want to allow myself to get completely sucked back in. It was nice not feeling like I had to play all the time.

A Momentous Occasion

For the few who have actually read my blog during the time I actually updated it, you would know that I have been a bit of an achievement hunter and collector. So it would be no surprise to those of you that after such a long absence I would finally update again during the Brewfest. Because for many it is the last Holiday needed, that's right, What A Long, Strange Trip It's Been is finally done. And I now have myself a new baby, the Violet Proto-Drake So thank all of you who have been around as I posted screens of each Holiday title earned. Thank all of you who supported my crazy world travels for Elders and Summer bonfires.

And now... the screens.

So, I dropped a keg on the bar and started drinking up. Before finally dancing on the bar, I drank one too many and vomited beforehand. Yay alcohol.

I got a nice letter from Alexstrasza herself along with the Reins of the Violet Proto-Drake

And the glory shot, cheering as I fly high and fly fast above Dalaran. What you don't see is he/she seems to be a gassy Proto-Drake as clouds of purple gas trail behind him/her. Is there a Lemon-Law for these things?

Does this mean I'm done? Of course not. I still need to hit 75 pets for Lil' Game Hunter as well as needing to hit up mounts for Mountain o' Mounts. And of course, before Blizzard starts messing with Old Azeroth I should attempt to finish off Loremaster of Kalimdor. So of course I am not done. It's just a matter of whether or not I find time to blog about it. Until next time, good luck to all of you and your goals.

Grunty is all mine

<.insert lazy post because I don't want to reinstall whatever software needed for transferring pics off my Camera and Camcorder onto this old PoS computer I am on because my newer Gaming PC is sidelined due to faulty Graphics Card. Heck, it'll probably be easier to just plug the cameras into my TV then take pictures of the pictures off the TV via iPhone then email them to myself thus completing my "Digital Transfer">

Along with the ugly Tier 8.5 Rogue helm. Better than the blue iLvl 167 i had though

BLIZZCON 2009!

I know I don't post much anymore. But that's because I been playing more. The Shaman is officially way better geared than my original main Occeleta and I kinda feel sad about it. Especially since I will be doing some light cosplaying. The inspiration of my light cosplaying is Occeleta.

NO u sickos no. I am not gonna dress up like a female Night Elf.I am a guy and trust me.... no one wants to see that. I will leave that to the hotties. But what I will be doing is probably the best outfit ever in game, and that's the fishing outfit. I've posted screens before, screens very much like this one.

So if you happen to be at Blizzcon and see a 260 pounder in Blue Overalls and a yellow straw hat, chances are it's me. I might even be at a fishing pool if I happen upon one. So Let Go Fishin'

I'm still here.

That's right. I haven't really quit blogging, I just don't have the same time as I used to. Most my blogging was done at work, on my iPhone, because I was able to do both at the same time. But i've recently been promoted and now too busy to do much on the iPhone. It's bad because I can't blog as much, but good because I am busy throughout the day and now the work days don't drag on like before.

But what about when you get home Occeleta? Well anytime on the computer is mostly spent playing WoW rather than reading about playing WoW. I check a few blogs when in game waiting for something like being in flight, but other than that just playing WoW.

Recently most my time has been on Drappe. I been running Heroics like crazy and hitting Raids whenever I can. I gotten him a Tier 8 piece from VoA 25, and plenty of epics from Naxx 10 on my first ever one night full clear with an awesome pug. Haven't even done a full clear on Occeleta yet, so sad.

But also recently a good friend of mine has finally started playing again. He's had a toon at 80 but just stopped playing. But when him and his wife forgot to change the subscription plan and they ended up paying for another 6 months for both their accounts, it dawned on them that they need to start playing.

He started off on his lowbie Warrior, so i quickly jumped on my lowbie Mage and joined him. We spent several hours friday night doing that. Saturday night I found him on his high 60 Death Knight questing in Nagrand with his wife and her high 60 Paladin. So I jumped on my Death Knight and ran them through most the Elite quests there.

But the best of it came Sunday night while I was busy running heroics, he had whispered me telling me he's trying out the whole Heroics thing. I'm just so proud, he's just growing up. Well he found out his dps was low. And as a further kick in the groin he told me later that he just realized that is with group buffs. So I finished my Heroics and met up with him. Gave him tips, looked at his gear, took him to the training dummies in which i noticed he clearly learned to fine tune his rotation. He started out first half of the five minutes at around 600 dps, but as I gave him suggestions and told him to tighten up his rotation and be faster on hitting each shot when it's available he started to push it at 1k dps.

I took him to a spot to pick up a Wolf to use till he levels up his cat. He was running Utgarde Pinnacle with a bird, because his cat is still 75. I crafted some replacement gear, got him to fork over the gold to get mats to craft his Engineering Helm. Got him gemmed for the Meta slot. Unfortunately he ran out of time so we couldn't hit the training dummies again to see how much improvement he would have.

So for the next couple days I'm going to be running instance with him to show him the ropes. He doesn't have nearly as much time as some of us to research everything, heck he's only just barely started playing again. He stopped because he just didn't have the time in the first place. He always felt that with what he wanted to do he always needed to have several hours in the day to play, but he doesn't always have that time. I am just showing him that he can just pop on, run a Heroic or do some dailies and get closer to getting gear and it'll only take 30-60 minutes of his time depending on what it is he does.

That's what Darraxus did for the longest time and even know does, only back then he used to pop on and run VH real quick, and now he pops on and makes ton of gold on AH.
